【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthecompositionandphysicalpropertiesforperlitethermalinsulationboardusedprincipallyabovestructuralroofdecksandasabaseforbuilt-up,modified,andelastomericmembraneroofinginbuildingconstruction.1.2Theuseofthermalinsulationmaterialscoveredbythisspecificationmayberegulatedbybuildingcodesorotheragenciesthataddressfireperformance,orboth.Thefireperformanceofthematerialshouldbeaddressedthroughstandardfiretestmethodsestablishedbytheappropriategoverningdocuments.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethods,Section11,inthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
