【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9798specifiesentityauthenticationmechanismsusingsymmetricenciphermentalgorithms.Fourofthemechanismsprovideentityauthenticationbetweentwoentitieswherenotrustedthirdpartyisinvolved;twoofthesearemechanismstounilaterallyauthenticateoneentitytoanother,whiletheothertwoaremechanismsformutualauthenticationoftwoentities.Theremainingmechanismsrequireatrustedthirdpartyfortheestablishmentofacommonsecretkey,andrealizemutualorunilateralentityauthentication.ThemechanismsspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC9798usetimevariantparameterssuchastimestamps,sequencenumbers,orrandomnumbers,topreventvalidauthenticationinformationfrombeingacceptedatalatertimeormorethanonce.Ifnotrustedthirdpartyisinvolvedandatimestamporsequencenumberisused,onepassisneededforunilateralauthentication,whiletwopassesareneededtoachievemutualauthentication.Ifnotrustedthirdpartyisinvolvedandachallengeandresponsemethodemployingrandomnumbersisused,twopassesareneededforunilateralauthentication,whilethreepassesarerequiredtoachievemutualauthentication.Ifatrustedthirdpartyisinvolved,anyadditionalcommunicationbetweenanentityandthetrustedthirdpartyrequirestwoextrapassesinthecommunicationexchange.Singlecopyprice:$42.00Obtainanelectroniccopyfrom:http://webstore.ansi.org/ansidocstore/find.asp?Orderfrom:ANSISendcomments(withcopytoBSR)to:BarbaraBennett,NCITS,bbennett@itic.org
