【摘要】:Thistestmethodissuitableforspecificationacceptance,designpurposes,serviceevaluation,regulatorystatutes,manufacturingcontrol,andresearchanddevelopment.Becauseoftherestrictionsonthespecimenshapeandsize,thistestmethodismostoftenusedtoevaluatesemifinishedproductbeforefabricationofparts.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthreeproceduresfordeterminationofthepermeability[relativepermeability]ofmaterialshavingapermeabilitynotexceeding4.0.1.2Thetestmethodscoveredareasfollows:1.2.1TestMethod1issuitableformaterialswithpermeabilitiesbetween1.0and4.0.1.2.2TestMethod2issuitableformeasuringthepermeabilityofparamagneticmaterialshavingapermeabilitylessthan1.05.1.2.3TestMethod3isasuitablemeansofmeasuringthepermeabilityofamaterialas"lessthan"or"greaterthan"thatofcalibratedstandardinsertsdesignatedforuseinaLow-MuPermeabilityIndicator.1.3Thevaluesstatedineithercustomary(absolute(orpractical)cgs-emuandinch-pound)unitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthistestmethod,theSIunitsareshowninbracketsexceptforthesectionsconcerningcalculationswherethereareseparatesectionsfortherespectiveunitsystems.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththisspecification.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
