【摘要】:Specifiestherequirementsforhalogen-freereinforcedthermosettingresinconduit(RTRC),andassociatedfittingsforinstallationanduseinaccordancewiththeRulesoftheCanadianElectricalCode,(CEC)PartI,andtheNationalElectricalCode(NEC)fornonhazardouslocations.TheproductsspecifiedinthisStandardareintendedforuseat,butnotlimitedto,-40鳦(-40鳩)to110鳦(230鳩)continuousoperatingtemperature.ThisStandardcoversconduitTypeAGforuseabovegroundand/orbelowground,andTypeBGforusebelowgroundonly.ThisStandardcoversconduitTypeID(dimensionsbasedoninsidediameters)andTypeIPS(dimensionsbasedonoutsidediametersofironpipesizes).Tradesizes(metricdesignators)are1/2(16),3/4(21),1(27),1-1/4(35),1-1/2(41),2(53),2-1/2(63),3(78),3-1/2(91),4(103),4HW(103),4-1/2(116),5(129),and6(155).Note:Thevaluesinparenthesisaremetricsizedesignationsofconduitsandfittingsanddonotnecessarilyreflectmetrictradesizes.FittingsspecifiedinthisStandardinclude,butarenotlimitedto,straightcouplings,5?anglecouplings,adapters,elbowswithplainendsorintegralbelledendsatoneorbothends,expansionjointsandconduitbodies.

【摘要】:Thesulfurprintrevealsthedistributionofsulfurassulfideinclusionsinthespecimen.Thesulfurprintcomplementsmacroetchmethodsbyprovidinganadditionalprocedureforevaluatingthehomogeneityofasteelproduct.Sulfurprintsofas-castspecimensgenerallyrevealthesolidificationpatternandmaybeusedtoassessthenatureofdeoxidation,thatis,rimmingactionversuskilledsteelsulfurdistributions.Sulfurprintswillrevealsegregationpatterns,includingrefilledcracks,andmayrevealcertainphysicalirregularities,forexample,porosityorcracking.Thenatureofmetalflow,suchasinvariousforgingoperations,canberevealedusingsulfurprintsofspecimenscutparalleltothemetalflowdirection.Thesulfurprintmethodissuitableforprocesscontrol,researchanddevelopmentstudies,failureanalysis,andformaterialacceptancepurposes.Theintensityofthesulfurprintisinfluencedbytheconcentrationofsulfurinthesteel,thechemicalcompositionofthesulfideinclusions,theaggressivenessoftheaqueousacidsolution,andthedurationofthecontactprintingbetweentheacidsoakedemulsioncoatedpaperandthegroundsurfaceofthespecimen(thistimeistheorderofsecondsratherthanminutes).Verylowsulfurcontentsteelswillproducetoofaintanimagetobeusefulformacrostructuralevaluations.Selectionofappropriateprintingpracticesincludingselectionoftypeofemulsioncoatedmedia,acidtypeandstrength,willyieldsatisfactoryprints.VeryfaintimagesinthesulfurprintcanbemademorevisiblebyscanningthesulfurprintintoaPC,andusingaphotoeditortoincreasethecolorsaturation.Steelswithcompositionsthatproducepredominantlytitaniumorchromiumsulfideswillnotproduceusefulimages.1.1Thispracticeprovidesinformationrequiredtopreparesulfurprints(alsoreferredtoasBaumannPrints)ofmostferrousalloystorevealthedistributionofsulfideinclusions.1.2Thesulfurprintrevealsthedistributionofsulfidesinsteelswithbulksulfurcontentsbetweenabout0.002and0.40weightpercent.1.3Certainsteelscontaincomplexsulfidesthatdonotrespondtothetestsolutions,forexample,steelscontainingtitaniumsulfidesorchromiumsulfides.1.4Thesulfurprinttestisaqualitativetest.Thedensityoftheprintimageshouldnotbeusedtoassessthesulfurcontentofasteel.Undercarefullycontrolledconditions,itispossibletocompareprintimageintensitiesiftheimagesareformedonlybymanganesesulfides.1.5Thesulfurprintimagewillrevealdetailsofthesolidificationpatternormetalflowfromhotorcoldworkingonappropriatelychosenandpreparedtestspecimens.1.6Thispracticedoesnotaddressacceptancecriteriabasedontheuseofthemethod.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection9.
