【摘要】:1ThispartofISO179specifiesamethodfordeterminingtheCharpyimpactstrengthofplasticsunderdefinedconditions.Anumberofdifferenttypesofspecimenandtestconfigurationsaredefined.Differenttestparametersarespecifiedaccordingtothetypeofmaterial,thetypeoftestspecimenandthetypeofnotch.2Themethodisusedtoinvestigatethebehaviourofspecifiedtypesofspecimenundertheimpactconditionsdefinedandforestimatingthebrittlenessortoughnessofspecimenswithinthelimitationsinherentinthetestconditions.Itmayalsobeusedforthedeterminationofcomparativedatafromsimilartypesofmaterial.3ThemethodhasagreaterrangeofapplicabilitythanthatgiveninISO180andismoresuitableforthetestingofmaterialsshowinginterlaminarshearfractureorofmaterialsexhibitingsurfaceeffectsduetoenvironmentalfactors.4Themethodissuitableforusewiththefollowingrangeofmaterials:—rigidthermoplasticmouldingandextrusionmaterials,includingfilledandreinforcedcompoundsinadditiontounfilledtypes;rigidthermoplasticssheets;—rigidthermosettingmouldingmaterials,includingfilledandreinforcedcompounds;rigidthermosettingsheets,includinglaminates;—fibre-reinforcedthermosettingandthermoplasticcompositesincorporatingunidirectionalornon-unidirectionalreinforcementssuchasmat,wovenfabrics,wovenrovings,choppedstrands,combinationandhybridreinforcements,rovingsandmilledfibres,sheetmadefrompre-impregnatedmaterials(prepregs),includingfilledandreinforcedcompounds;—thermotropicliquid-crystalpolymers.5Themethodisnotnormallysuitableforusewithrigidcellularmaterialsandsandwichstructurescontainingcellularmaterial.Also,notchedspecimensarenotnormallyusedforlong-fibre-reinforcedcompositesorthermotropicliquid-crystalpolymers.6Themethodissuitedtotheuseofspecimenswhichmaybeeithermouldedtothechosendimensions,machinedfromthecentralportionofastandardmultipurposetestspecimen(seeISO3167)ormachinedfromfinishedorsemifinishedproductssuchasmouldings,laminatesandextrudedorcastsheet.7Themethodspecifiespreferreddimensionsforthetestspecimen.Testswhicharecarriedoutonspecimensofdifferentdimensionsorwithdifferentnotches,orspecimenswhicharepreparedunderdifferentconditions,mayproduceresultswhicharenotcomparable.Otherfactors,suchastheenergycapacityoftheapparatus,itsimpactvelocityandtheconditioningofthespecimenscanalsoinfluencetheresults.Consequently,whencomparativedataarerequired,thesefactorsmustbecarefullycontrolledandrecorded.8Themethodshouldnotbeusedasasourceofdatafordesigncalculations.Informationonthetypicalbehaviourofamaterialcanbeobtained,however,bytestingatdifferenttemperatures,byvaryingthenotchradiusand/orthethicknessandbytestingspecimenspreparedunderdifferentconditions.note:1)ISO180:2000,Plastics?DeterminationofIzodimpactstrength.
